Bhai Subegh Singh, Bhai Shehbaz Singh (July 1746)

During the time of Yahya Khan's tyranny against the Sikhs, Bhai Subeg Singh, a government contractor and his son Shehbaz Singh were ordered to be crushed mid-between the Charkhari (spiked wheels). He took his laceration in the name of his faith without any protest. When the Qazi (Muslim priest) advised him to save his son, hem mentioned of the great sacrifices made by the Gurus compared to which his loss was insignificant.
