Bidhi Chand Chhina

Courage ! thy name is Bidhi Chand Chinna. Two brothers, Gurbax Rai and Tara Chand complained to Guru Hargobind that the two fine horses that they had brought from kabul as gift to him, had been snatched away by the Nawab of Lahore. The Guru consolded them by saying that Bidhi Chand  would be sent to bring them back. Bhai Bidhi Chand tricked his way into the royal fort first as a grass-cutter and then as an astrologer and with cleverness escaped out with the two horses by jumping over the high wall of the fort. The scene, here, portrays the diving of the horse over the wall into the river Ravi.
